There are two major components that contribute to performance. Polyethylene monofilament blades provide excellent ball roll and bounce, and they eliminate post fibrillation. Attack is softer to the touch than polypropylene-fiber turf. For safety and performance, a two-layer backing provides cushion and elasticity. The system eliminates pile direction and is resistant to the growth of weather, rot, mold, mildew, and fungus.
